HOW WE WORK
OUR KITCHEN
You can't feed a community without a kitchen and at Nourrir La Rue we rely on Local businesses and volunteers to find, prepare and deliver meals to those in need. We have partnered with a number of local organizations ranging from product distributors, restaurants, and even a cooking school located at Jean-Talon Market to get the ingredients, meals and prep space we need to find and prepare quality meals.

MEAL DELIVERY AND AWARENESS
At Nourrir La Rue, we believe that to best help a community, you need to be a part of it and no one embodies that better than the founding member Jean-René Bernier who leads the outreach and meal delivery activities along with volunteers. Almost every day of the week you can find him cycling through the streets of Montreal handing out meals, looking for those in need or just chatting with locals to better understand their needs and their story.
